HAIR TRANSPLANT TECHNICS

Hair loss can begin at a very young age.

There are easy remedies that can help you restore and maintain your hair if you have hair loss, even if it begins early on.

The theory behind hair transplants is straightforward: hair is extracted from the donor area, where it never falls out, and re-implanted in the balding areas.

FUE

In FUE hair transplantation, the surgeon extracts robust and durable hair follicles from the areas of the scalp where they naturally grow. Typically, FUE is performed through incisions using a needle designed for this purpose.

These follicles are implanted into previously opened holes on the scalp in balding or balding areas.

DHI

Probably the most notable distinction between DHI and FUE is the instruments utilized throughout the procedure. Choi’s pen consists primarily of “needles” as opposed to punches.

The thickest pen has a 1mm diameter, and the surgeon chooses the pen’s width for each patient.

Sapphire

The only difference between Sapphire FUE and the classic FUE technique is the scalpel used during the treatment.

In this approach, a sapphire scalpel is utilized instead of a blade to open channels on the scalp during hair transplanting

FUE – or Follicular Unit Extraction – is a technique for replacing lost or thinning hair by transplanting healthy follicles from a donor area of the head. FUE is a minimally invasive hair restoration technique that requires skill and precision to produce the best results.

Individual follicles – typically between 1 and 4 hairs – are removed under local anaesthesia during the procedure. To remove the follicles, a microsurgical extraction instrument with a diameter of 0.6mm to 1.0mm is used in the extraction procedure.

The expert then punctures the scalp area that will receive the grafts with specialist microsurgical needles. Our medical teams are experts at blending the hair in, inserting the grafts at an angle and density that matches the original hair, so that it looks natural and realistic.

Unlike strip surgery, FUE hair transplantation does not necessitate the harvesting of large areas of the scalp. In addition, there is no linear incision or scar on the back of the head.

Individual follicles are removed, leaving only small, puncture scars that are virtually invisible to the naked eye. There is very little post-operative pain and discomfort, and the average recovery time is less than 7 days.

The effects of FUE are permanent once you’ve had it done. While the transplanted hair will shed for a few weeks following treatment, it will grow back strong and healthy.

It can be difficult to determine whether a FUE hair transplant is right for you or whether you are a good candidate for FUE hair transplantation. You’ll need healthy hair growth on the back and sides of your head to serve as a donor area for follicles to be harvested from. Other factors, such as hair color, texture, waviness, or curliness, may also have an impact on the cosmetic outcome.

Contacting Astetika’s Medical Consultants is the quickest way to find out if FUE is right for you. We can answer any questions you have and determine whether you are a good candidate for FUE.

FUE is a minimally invasive hair surgery procedure that is performed under local anaesthesia, which reduces pain and allows most patients to feel nothing at all. You will be awake the entire time the hair transplant procedure is performed.

There will be some minor discomfort during the recovery period, but this will only last about seven days. The risk of complications as a result of FUE is also very low.

FUE treatments are widely regarded as one of the most effective hair transplant techniques. The manner in which hairs are implanted is what distinguishes FUE. Before implantation, experienced specialists carefully map your hair growth to determine where and at what angle to place each follicle.

It is a meticulous process that necessitates a great deal of experience and expertise. Nonetheless, we believe the end result is worthwhile. Donor hair grows, moves, and feels the same way it used to after a successful FUE transplant. This is the finest hair transplant available.

Because this is your natural hair that has been moved around, it will grow exactly like normal hair and is permanent. There’s no need for pills or potions; simply enjoy your natural hair.
